The Cabinet Renovation Process
It begins with disassembling and labeling all parts for easy reassembly later on. The surfaces are cleaned and degreased to remove dirt and residue. The work area and cabinet body are insulated and prepared before all parts and the body are sanded to ensure a smooth finish. If needed, holes are drilled for new hardware to update functionality and style.
A primer layer is applied, followed by adequate drying time. Once dry, the primer layer is sanded, and sanding dust is removed to create the perfect surface for the paint or finisher. The chosen paint or finish is then applied and allowed to dry. New hardware is installed, the cabinets are reassembled, and the work area is thoroughly cleaned.
